             About FCX

 

FCX was established in 2005, F.C. meaning Football Club and “X” being the variable.  The club consists of players from clubs around the Chicago land area, (currently FC

Barrington, Northwest United, LTSC, Team Elmhurst, and Palatine Celtic FC).  Participation is open to High School boys & girls ranging in age from U15 to U18.  The concept of FCX is to provide an environment for all types of soccer players to develop and achieve success through good competition and outstanding coaching.

Players that represent FCX have the opportunity to attend & compete in high-level regional and national tournaments.

Mission Statement


The mission of the FCX youth soccer club is to provide a safe, rewarding and competitive training and game environment for players to develop to their full potential.  To obtain this objective we will provide the highest level of coaching to create an environment that fosters
self-confidence, positive self-image and healthy lifestyle choices.  The coaches will also promote the development of each player’s technical, tactical, physical and mental skills in an atmosphere of teamwork and sportsmanship.  FCX will continue to provide soccer opportunities based on ability level, as the founding clubs Lyons Township Soccer Club, Team Elmhurst Soccer Club, FC Barrington & Northwest United have always done.
